We are proud to celebrate three decades of providing a quality educational environment for the young child in our Primary Program. Extending to serve the broader community, we are meeting the needs of older children through our Lower Elementary Program. Our focus continues to be on the whole child and his/her total well-being. Dedicated staff are committed to fulfilling the needs of each child as an individual and to encourage intellectual development.     We are an independent, privately owned, nonsectarian Montessori preschool/kindergarten, lower and upper elementary program. It is our goal that West Hills Montessori School reflects the rich diversity of our community, including various cultures, economic status and individual or special educational needs. We welcome students and staff of any race, color, national and ethnic origin and family constellation to all programs and activities. The school year extends between September and early June, five days per week. The schedule will follow closely the Portland Public School calendar. A summer session is offered from mid-June through late August.
